Randic Torn, (?b - 1E 737)
A commoner who replaced Sesnit as the ruler over Redguard in 1E 617. He continued the work of unifying the Empire which Sesnit had begun, ruthlessly putting down any traces of insurrection. He revived the old gulf between the warriors - the sword singers - and the commoners by introducing restrictions on the wearing of swords. Torn's Sword-hunt, as it was known, meant that only the singers were allowed to wear swords, which distinguished them from the rest of the population.

Although Torn did much to settle the empire into its pre-strife ways, by the time of his death in 1E 737 (2373 in the old way) internal disturbances still had not been completely eliminated. Upon his death, civil war broke out in earnest, war that made the prior 300 year turmoil pale in comparison. It was in this period that Frandar Hunding grew up.

Refayj, (?b - ?d)
Famous for the declaration There is but one city in the Imperial Province, but one city in Tamriel, but one city in the World; and that, my brothers, is the city of the Cyrodiils, referring to the glorious Imperial City.

Reman I, (?b - ?d)
Born of the Colovian Estates (West Cyrodiil), herallied the East Valley's army to aid against the Akavir Invasion in 1E 2703. The East and West fought side-by-side in the entire Northern regions and eventually forced the Akaviri's surrender in the Pale Pass of Skyrim.

Richton, Governor (?b - ?d)
See Amiel Richton.
