The following plants appear in The Infernal City and Lord of Souls.
- Almond
- Annaïg considers at one point how too many raw almonds can be poisonous.
- Apple
- Colin buys some apples in the Market District of the Imperial City, and Annaïg later considers how apple seeds can be poisonous.
- Arrowroot
- Arrowroot is used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel.
- Ash
- Ash trees grow in County Bravil; Attrebus travels past some.
- Bamboo
- Bamboo is found in the Old Imperial Quarter of Lilmoth; there are mentioned to be places overgrown with it.
- Blackberry
- Blackberries are used in Umbriel's kitchens. Slyr tells Annaïg that she was experimenting with making a condensation from them.
- Bloodball
- Bloodball is a type of fruit found on Umbriel, growing on vines in the Fringe Gyre.
- Cardamom
- Cardamom is used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel. Annaïg uses it to prepare a smoke with other ingredients as a course in the competition to cook for Lord Umbriel.
- Cherry
- Annaïg considers at one point how too many cherry pits can be poisonous.
- Clove
- Clove is used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel. Among other uses, Annaïg uses it to prepare a smoke with other ingredients as a course in the competition to cook for Lord Umbriel.
- Cumin
- Cumin is another ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel. Annaïg uses it to prepare a smoke with other ingredients as a course in the competition to cook for Lord Umbriel.
- Cypress
- Cypress grows in County Bravil; Attrebus travels past some. Annaïg's father owns some furniture made of cypress, and the needles are used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel.
- Durian
- Durian is used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel; Annaïg uses it multiple times.
- Eucalyptus
- Eucalyptus is used is an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel; Ooroy creates a hedgehog-and-eucalypus broth for Lord Ghol.
- Fennel fern
- A whitish-green fern which is used to soothe the stomach and is used in poultices for thick-eye. Annaïg identifies it in Qijne's kitchen.
- Ginger
- A stench that Attrebus smells is described as being like rotting ginger.
- Helsh
- Helsh is a red root from Umbriel that is used as an ingredient in the kitchens.
- Inf
- A type of fern that grows in the sump. Its fronds are collected for the kitchens of Umbriel.
- Kraken barnacles
- Shelled food native to Black Marsh, found growing on Umbriel.
- Lemon
- Colin buys some lemon water in the Market District.
- Lucan mold
- Lucan mold is described as being phosphorescent. It appears in the Old Imperial Quarter of Lilmoth.
- Mangrove
- Mangrove trees grow in Black Marsh, and an Argonian folk tale claims that they were once giant spiders that earned the wrath of the Hist and were transformed.
- Marshmerrow
- Marshmerrow is a plant native to Morrowind. Annaïg, knowing that Lord Umbriel was once a Dunmer, uses it in a dish for him. She comments that marshmerrow begs to be made into hluurn or echar.
- Moss-oat
- A type of plant that grows in the Fringe Gyre of Umbriel. Fhena says that stories say that Umbriel was once planted in place like the moss-oat, rather than floating and moving.
- Mustard
- An ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel. Annaïg uses it to prepare a smoke with other ingredients as a course in the competition to cook for Lord Umbriel.
- Nutmeg
- Annaïg considers at one point how too much nutmeg is poisonous.
- Oak
- Oak trees grow in County Bravil; Attrebus travels past some.
- Pepper
- An ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel. Annaïg uses it to prepare a smoke with other ingredients as a course in the competition to cook for Lord Umbriel.
- Pine
- Colin smells pine when he is abducted at the beginning of the second book.
- Rejjem
- A plant that grows in the sump. Its sap is collected for the kitchens of Umbriel.
- Slackweed
- A type of weed that grows in the sump. Its tendrils are mentioned as being twenty feet long.
- Sleeping palm
- A type of palm tree found in the Old Imperial Quarter of Lilmoth; there are mentioned to be places overgrown with it.
- Terriswort
- A plant used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel.
- Water Oak
- A type of oak that grows in Black Marsh. Mere-Glim uses water oak and white oak as an example when comparing the Hist to Umbriel's Hist-like trees.
- White Oak
- A type of oak that grows in Black Marsh. Mere-Glim uses water oak and white oak as an example when comparing the Hist to Umbriel's Hist-like trees.
- White Poplar
- White poplars grow along the streams near Anvil; Letine Arese reminds Colin of one.
- Weavecane
- Weavecane is a plant used to make furniture; Annaïg's father has a couch made from it.
- Willow
- Willows grow in Cyrodiil. Attrebus travels past some in County Bravil, and Colin speaks to a ghost who comments that there were willow trees in Mortal (the town where she lived), and she asks him to think of her the next time he sees a willow tree. It is also used as an ingredient in the kitchens of Umbriel.
