Iradal was a powerful Altmer mage and sage, and a member of the Conclave of the Eleven Forces, the ruling council of the Psijic Order active duing the Interregnum of the Second Era.

History

Little is known about Iradal's past before he joined the Order. Little is known about the exact details of his focus of studies, but it involved forms and principles.

During the Summerset crisis related to the Court of Bedlam in 2E 582, Iradal, as a member of the Conclave of the Eleven Forces, participated in a complex scrying ritual led by the Ritemaster Iachesis. After uncovering the Sea Sload's involvement, the Ritemaster requested that the council determine a new investigative focus, expecting that Amaleera and Iradal would be able to explore new avenues for the investigation. He also acted in the capacity of messenger during such a crisis. During the scrying performed later to reveal the attack on Artauem, he quickly identified that the sword of their unexpected ally Golden Knight, Darien Gautier, was the Dawnbreaker.

Following the death of Ritemaster Iachesis, the remaining members of the Conclave, including Iradal, honored Iachesis's dying wish by agreeing to appoint Valsirenn as the interim Ritemaster. This decision was made until the Conclave could come to a consensus on a more permanent and suitable candidate.
