Kanesh is a large island in the Yokudan archipelago, between the Azurian Sea and the Sea of Pearls, and the closest of the group to Tamriel.[1] Located due east of Akos Kasaz, it is a harsh volcanic island.[2] To its south are the islands of Irranhu and Samara.
In the late Second Era, there was a settlement named Lumut on the east side of the island.[1]
