Lore talk:Failed Incarnates

Revision[edit]

Apologies, but I'm currently not sufficiently equipped to act on these comments personally. Some points:

  • While Elvil Vidron is a False Incarnate, he isn't a failed one. Maybe the distinction should be clarified in general.
  • The PC in Morrowind is labeled a False Incarnate by the Temple at one point, and called as such by several NPCs. "False Incarnate" is capitalized as such in dialogue, probably marking it as an official term of the Temple.
  • I don't quite personally understand the use of the lore templates in some sections, instead of discrete descriptions.
  • In Morrowind, killing essential NPCs and "severing the thread of prophecy" can be interpreted as becoming a failed incarnate yourself, ignoring the back-path of course. This point is probably better suited for discussion elsewhere though, than inclusion in the article.
