Oblivion:Imperial Legion Archer

Imperial Legion Archers are essentially Imperial Legion Soldiers equipped with bows. They tend to have lower Blade skill but higher Marksman skill than the guards, reflecting the Imperial Legion’s preference for melee combat over archery. Only four archers exist in Cyrodiil, and while some foresters and Imperial Guards wield bows, their stats are more blade-focused.

They appear in both the Imperial City and Kvatch during different points of the game.

There are a total of five Imperial Legion Archers present during the final quest in the game, each carrying an identical inventory consisting of a full set of Imperial Legion Armor, a steel shortsword, a steel bow, steel arrows, and a lower-class leveled amount of gold.

Notes

• The archers with Ref IDs 0004BFB6, 0004BFB8, and 0004BFB9 are not a member of the Imperial Watch faction like the others found in this area.
  • They are also the ones found in the Temple District during the final quest.

An Imperial Legion Archer at Kvatch

This Imperial Legion Archer first appears at the Chapel of Akatosh during The Battle for Castle Kvatch and is the only one who respawns upon being killed. He wears a Legion Cuirass, Legion Helmet, Leather Greaves, and Leather Boots. His inventory also includes a steel bow, steel arrows, a pair of huntsman leather pants, and a lower-class leveled shirt, pants, shoes, and gold.
