Jolie Retiene is a Breton farmer living in the small town of Water's Edge with her husband, Eduard.
She lives her entire life in the company of her husband and they both prefer to stay inside the house 24 hours a day. At midday, they share a two-hour lunch and at 6pm a two-hour dinner. Like her husband, Jolie never sleeps. This peaceful routine comes to an end during the Infiltration quest for the Fighters Guild, when she is first replaced by a Goblin, then moved to a spot in the center of the village and killed.
Jolie wears a random set of lower-level clothing and carries an iron mace and a few gold coins.
Related Quests[edit]

Bugs[edit]
- She is the victim of a Scripted Death, but is not flagged as an essential NPC. Thus it is possible for her to effectively "die twice".
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 3.4.0, fixes this bug.
- Jolie was supposed to venture outside between 2pm and 6pm, but she only has a "find" package with no target item, and the location center is right on the junction between the main road and the small village road. Since there's no target item, she stays inside the house.
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 3.4.0, fixes this bug.
