Garridan link[edit]
I linked Garridan to the Tears of the Savior quest but I was wondering if anyone thought it would be better suited to the book Knightfall? — Unsigned comment by Gadianzero (talk • contribs) at 21:11 on 4 January 2009
- Someone has just undone this 3.5-year-old link, so I'm resurrecting this topic. At first glance, it would seem that the Jaren and Garridan here must be the same two as in Knightfall (Jaren is the author, Garridan is the subject of the book). However, in Knightfall, Jaren refers to Garridan as "my lord", where this Jaren is a lord in his own right. Since Garridan dies in Knightfall, this writing would have to precede that. Unless Jaren somehow ended up being stripped of his Lordship, I don't think this Jaren is the same one who wrote Knightfall. So, I tend to agree with the reverter that there's no clear link between the two. Given that we can reasonably assume it's not the same Jaren, we also therefore can't conclude it's the same Garridan unless there's some more lore somewhere I didn't find in my search. – Robin Hood↝talk 22:34, 27 September 2012 (GMT)
