Dialogue[edit]

When you enter Tlali's dream-wallow, you'll hear the Dark Adept call out to him.

Dark Adept Tlali-Haas: "You honor salt and sand, but forget the great stone monuments that were raised as a testament to our power."
Tlali-Haas: "The Tide-Born do not chase stories of lost power. We forge ahead into uncharted waters. That is our strength."
Dark Adept Tlali-Haas: "The tide is fickle and whispers only half truths. Return to stone. Embrace permanence."
Tlali-Haas: "Even the sea erodes stone. I see your promises for what they are. Falsehoods whispered by shadows."
Dark Adept Tlali-Haas: "Are you so certain that you would risk the future of our people on your belief? Are you that afraid to lead them?"
Tlali-Haas: "Lead them? I always wanted to hear the tide, but I never … am I holding myself back?"

When you enter the Center of the Dream, you'll hear him deliberating:

Tlali-Haas: "Could I lead them? Do I have the strength?"
Tlali-Haas: "No! Not like this! Reel-ka, lend me your strength. Help me defeat this shade so I can return to my brother."
Dark Adept Tlali-Haas: "What you lack in strength you can make up for by bending the will of the dead!"

During combat, the Dark Adept calls out to his real counterpart:

Dark Adept Tlali-Haas: "See how our ancestors bend to our will, how they rise at our command. You can rebuild what has been lost!"

When his health falls to around 10%, the Dark Adept spits:

Dark Adept Tlali-Haas: "You doom us, then. We will drown in the fickle tides. And for what?"
