A scout of the Ard's Stonehands encountered a new type of Dwarven automaton in a nearby cave that appeared to be dropping scrap metal. The Stonehands asked me to investigate. I need to destroy the construct and gather the scrap.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Kill the Dwarven Dynastor Supreme and collect Dwarven Scrap.
- Talk to Gwenyfe in Markarth.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Gwenyfe informs you that one of the Stonehands' scouts has discovered a huge Dwarven construct beneath the Reach. It appears to be dropping scrap metal, and the Stonehands would like someone to retrieve a few samples. Furthermore, the construct should be destroyed to keep it from harming those above.
Head into Blackreach and make for Sentinel Point. There are piles of Dwarven Scrap metal scattered across the area. Take samples from three of the piles and destroy the Dwarven Dynastor Supreme. Once the task is done, return to Gwenyfe in Markarth to receive a reward.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
