Gorbrum

Gorbrum is an Orc member of the Order of the Lamp who can be found examining a Hadolid corpse in the Mages Guildhall in Sunport.

Dialogue

… is that a boot?"

When you talk to him, Gorbrum is willing to talk about his findings:

"Stomach contents … various fish, some strange-looking mushrooms, half a loaf of everfresh bread, and … is that a boot?"

What are you doing?

"Examining this Hadolid corpse. Poorly, I admit. I'm a Lamp Knight. A mage found it while exploring one of the nearby caves. Thinks it might have run into a Worm Cultist. She went off to get some equipment and told me to stand guard."

Is figuring out how it died important?

"We know how it died. All the wounds from various spells make it abundantly clear. What we don't know is who cast those spells. A Worm Cultist? Some other powerful sorcerer? Or are the rumors true?"

Rumors?

"Well, you didn't hear it from me, but some of the mages think that the Hadolids have somehow learned to cast magic. That maybe this one was killed by one of its own.
Crazy, right? But I've seen stranger things since joining the Order of the Lamp."
