A Hag

Hags are witches who have been corrupted by dark nature magic. They are not to be confused with hagravens.

Skills and Abilities

As flying enemies, Hags have "Flying Immunities" which protects them from snares and roots

Staff Strike

A basic melee attack that does low flame damage.

Steal Essence

The hag channels a spell on her target that deals moderate magic damage and then continuous low magic damage. This can be interrupted to set the hag off-balance.

Reflective Shadow

The hag puts up a shield that reflects all projectiles and ranged abilities back towards her target. Melee attacks and abilities should be prioritized for the duration of this spell, as the hag cannot be interrupted out of it.

Dark Pull

When standing away from the hag, she pulls her target to her using shadowy magic, as well as stunning them briefly. Break Free can be used.

• Binder in the Dark and Lamenter of the Slain, two friendly hags found in Vateshran Hollows
• Fegra, a hag found at the Vlastarus Towers
• Igazkad, Orochar, and Ukha, three hags forming the group boss at the Hag Camp
• Magdelena, the group boss of Magdelena's Haunt
• Mother Murk, the leader of the coven in Hag Fen, found during the quest Wyrd and Coven
• Queen's Advisor, a hag serving as the mini-boss of the third waves of enemies during Stage 3: Drome of Toxic Shock in Maelstrom Arena

Quest-Related Events

During Jumping Ship, while heading through the Roost you will come across Tom talking with a some harpies, who are harassing him as he cowers:

Shifty Tom: "Leave me alone, you she-demons! I've done nothing wrong."

Hag: "Oh but you have, Tom! You've been hiding from us. The Captain knows."

Shifty Tom: "Me? Never! I'm here, aren't I? I'll go see the Captain. We'll straighten this out. Just let me through, kind lady. Did I mention you look positively glowing today?"

Hag: "You will indeed be seeing the Captain … Seize him!"

Shifty Tom: "No! Leave me alone. By the King's shaft, I'll scream!"
