Lalais, Daughter of Sithis

Lalais, Daughter of Sithis is an Imperial and leader of the Unmakers, a cult dedicated to Sithis. She can be found with her "brother" within Deepscorn Hollow.

Lalais was originally a noble from Leyawiin who dabbled in dark magic and lore, when she found Deepscorn Hollow and the dark forces dwelling there. Lalais let the power consume her and named herself the Daughter of Sithis, then she gathered the makings of her cult around her, targeting bored socialites and nobles.

Quest-Related Events

During the quest, you will explore Deepscorn Hollow with Bastian Hallix, who is looking for Quistley Silvelle who has landed in the clutches of Lalais and her cult. Lalais has marked Quistley to be sacrificed, and you need to reach him before it comes to that. Eventually you, Bastian and Tenarei Vels will reach the Fane of Scorn, deep within the temple to Sithis, you will find Lalais and Quistley, though the latter isn't happy about the rescue:

Bastian Hallix: "Quistley!"

Quistley Silvelle: "Bastian? What are you doing here? Go away!"

Quistley Silvelle: "I'll just … oh dear. I'll get out of the way!"

<Quistley runs through the door.>

As you approach Lalais, she will summon her brother:

Lalais, Daughter of Sithis: "Arise, my brother! Kill these trespassers!"

<A large flesh atronach will pull itself up from under the floor tiles.>

Skills and Abilities

She uses a mix of necromancer and shaman class abilities.

Necrotic Spear

A basic ranged attack that does minor magic damage.

Summon the Dead

The necromancer summons a zombie, a bloodfiend, a bloodfiend reaver, a Bone Reaver or a Bone Flayer. If the summoned creature killed, another one will be summoned to replace it. The summon scales with the difficulty, faction, and location of the summoner. The summoned creature will have around the same health as the current health of their summoner. Necromancers are vulnerable while a summon is active.

Empower Undead

The necromancer channels a buff on a nearby undead (e.g. skeletons, zombies, and even Bone Colossi and vampires) that increases the physical and spell resistance of the target. This spell appears as a green glow around the hands of the buffed enemy as well as those of the necromancer. This spell can be interrupted.

Summon Aura of Protection

The enemy summons an Aura of Protection totem that gives nearby allies increased resistance to damage. The totem can be destroyed in five hits from any source or one heavy attack.

Bone Shield

Lalais summons a magical swirling around herself, increasing her defense.
