Nardirin Death-Hand is a lich and former High Elf of the Corelanya Clan, who can be found in the ruined temple to Sithis in the northeast area of the Tainted Leel. The sadistic lich rules over the undead Zaman-Tla Argonians which once lived on the islet.

In life, he was a mage and secret necromancer who was beseeched by the nisswo of the isolated tribe for Nardirin's group to provide arcane protections to the islet to protect it from an oncoming storm. Nardirin took advantage of this and devised a ritual that he claimed would protect the Leel in return for the nisswo's soul. However, the nisswo soon got spooked and killed Nardirin, but this was not enough to prevent the ritual from taking place and plunged all the Zaman-Tla into undeath.

When you encounter Nardirin Death-Hand, he will be in the middle of a ritual and is surrounded by four undead Argonians who are also channeling magic. Nardirin has a chance of dropping the Padomay Sigil lead required for the Mythic Item, the Monomyth Reforged.

While not directly involved in the quest, Nardirin does have special dialogue for when you bring the spirit Akech-Chun to the old temple while looking for the Ceremonial Headdress:

Starting the fight with Nardirin Death-Hand:

During the fight, he may say the following:

Upon defeating Nardirin:

Nardirin Death-Hand: "I am eternal! Forever …."
