Nixads can be found in the Misfortune Teller's Garden at the Everlasting Fair. Some of them will talk to you, and prod you to gaze into the orbs.

Quest-Related Events

In return for locating the missing Fighters Guild squad members, the talking goat will ask you to find the broken pieces of the Rod of Revels, so that control of the Fair can be wrested from the Lady of Riot.

He will suggest you check the Misfortune Teller's tent for a piece of the rod. After you speak with Madame Mysterra you can enter the tent and find yourself in an underground garden. There will be many Nixads flying around, and as you approach, one will call out to you:

Nixad: "Ooh, shiny orbs! Touch this one! Do it!"

<The Nixad hovers around the Orb of Fates.>

Touching the orb, the Nixad will disappear and the voice of the Lady of Riot will warn you to stop interfering.

Afterwards, another Nixad will appear near the pool:

Nixad: "Now this one! Over here!"

<The Nixad hovers around the Orb of Happenstance.>

The Lady speaks to you again, and a third Nixad appears near a dark orb:

Nixad: "The shadows can't hide this pretty orb!"

<The Nixad hovers around the Orb of Shadows.>

The Lady taunts you once more, and a Nixad will call you over to the last orb:

Nixad: "One more to touch! What fun!"

<The Nixad hovers around the Orb of Consequences.>

Touching the orb will teleport you to the Misfortune Teller, who the Lady of Riot hopes will kill you.
