Padeehei is an Argonian found in the settlement of Hissmir. She used to live in Murkwater before the Aldmeri Dominion invaded.

Quest Related Events:

When you approach her, she can be heard saying:

"The Dominion should pay for their crimes …."

Speak with her.

"I grieve. Dominion soldiers destroyed my home.
Without help from the Shadowscales, I wouldn't have escaped."

What happened?

"The Aldmeri Dominion happened. They landed their ships at our village southeast of Hissmir. Then they started slaughtering everyone.
They may be coming this way next."

How did you get away?

"I hid in an offal pile. I thought I was doomed, but a Shadowscale named Silent-Moss found me and helped me escape. I don't know what happened to him after that.
If you want to help, go see him. He might still be there."

I'll see if I can find him.

After accepting the quest:

"Find Humauta. If there's anyone who knows what to do about the Dominion soldiers occupying my village, it's her."

After completing Scales of Retribution:

"It's heartening to see people willing to fight for us. I think the Shadowscales are heroes."

Notes

• Padeehei will at first ask you to find a male Shadowscale named Silent-Moss, but after accepting the quest, she'll ask that you look for a female named Humauta, which does not exist in the game. This is likely a change in NPCs that was never corrected in the dialogue.
