Shadowstorm Cutter

Shadowstorm Cutters are Maormer spirits that can be found in Carapace Cavern. In life, they were part of the Shadowstorms, a pirate crew under Sealord Gandelec. Their souls became trapped after the Sealord's necromantic was disrupted.

Skills & Abilities

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack that causes minor physical damage.

Low Slash

The Shadowstorm Cutter slashes the target's shins, dealing moderate physical damage and snaring. Blocking will reduce the damage, but doesn't prevent the snare.

Stunning Shock

The Shadowstorm Cutter throws lightning in a conal AoE in front of itself, dealing low shock damage and stunning for 2 seconds. This can be interrupted to set the Shadowstorm Cutter off-balance.

Stunning Shock

When standing further away, the Shadowstorm Cutter shoots at you with a glowing crossbow dealing low shock damage and stunning you for 2 seconds.

Ride the Current

When standing further away, the Shadowstorm Cutter holds their dual weapons in a rear-handed stance, with a yellow glow visible around their weapons, then dash forwards leaving areas of lighting behind them and finally strike their target. Any part of this ability deal moderate shock damage and stun. This is almost always used after "Stunning Shock" (the crossbow shot) lands successfully.

Roll Dodge

The Shadowstorm Cutter can perform a roll dodge to avoid incoming damage.

Backstabber

The Shadowstorm Cutter has a passive ability that causes them to deal 20% more damage when attacking the target's back.

Desecrated Ground

On death, the Shadowstorm Cutter rarely desecrate the ground under them as indicated by a red circle. This does moderate damage over time and snares all targets as well as healing undead enemies within the red circle.
