Taskmaster Viccia

Taskmaster Viccia is a Xivilai found in the Howling Cavern section of the Cauldron. She serves as the second boss of the dungeon.

She wields a maul in combat. During the fight you will also need to avoid her traps.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss rank enemy, Taskmaster Viccia is immune to crowd control. During the fight, Taskmaster Viccia's Dremora allies from the camp surrounding the arena jump in it to fight you.

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage.

Uppercut

Taskmaster Viccia winds up her hammer and strikes hard, dealing massive physical damage and knocking you back. This attack can be blocked to stagger Taskmaster Viccia instead.

Lashing Chains

If you are far from her, Taskmaster Viccia pulls to her all players in the direction she is facing which deals moderate-high physical damage. This can be blocked to negate to pull.

Discharge

Taskmaster Viccia rakes her hammer across the floor then slams it into the ground, causing a massive shockwave, dealing very high shock damage and knocking you back, indicated by a growing circular AoE. The area of the slam remains charged with electricity for a duration, dealing continuous high shock damage.

Capture

Taskmaster Viccia raises her hammer to the sky, causing four (in normal mode) or six (in veteran mode) Taskmaster Snares to be applied in various spots of the arena, indicated by circular AoEs. Stepping in them causes an explosion that deals very high shock damage (Jolt). These can linger long enough that they will still exist when the next application occurs.

Execute

Taskmaster Viccia canalizes a lightning attack at a player that stuns them and cannot break free of it. If this isn't interrupted, the target is always dealt lethal shock damage.

Dialogue

As you enter the Howling Caverns along with Drathas, the Taskmaster will notice you:

Taskmaster Viccia: "Escapees? Not on my watch."

Drathas: "Tell me where to find my father, monster!"

Taskmaster Viccia: "Father? Do you expect me to see any mortals as individuals? You're just flesh and muscle."

Drathas: "Let's take this monster down! I can help!"

Combat Dialogue

Idling before combat:

Taskmaster Viccia: "Welcome, new slaves! Breaking you will be my pleasure."

Taskmaster Viccia: "Drop those pitiful weapons so I can show you to your cage!"

Taskmaster Viccia: "A bit scrawnier than my usual servants but you'll do."

Taskmaster Viccia: "Let's see how many bones I can break before you can no longer work."

Discharge attack:

Taskmaster Viccia: "Watch where you step!"
