Zaedare the Afflicted

Zaedare the Afflicted is an Argonian member of the Hidden Kindred who can be found inside of Anchre Egg Mine. He has a chance of dropping the Dried Puspockets, an antiquity fragment for the Spore Savant Face Marks collectable.

Skills and Abilities

As an elite rank enemy, Zaedare the Afflicted is immune to crowd control. Before you face him you must defeat two waves of enemies:

-Wave 1: 3x Corrupted Kwama Scrib

-Wave 2: 1x Hidden Kindred Bound Armorer and 1x Hidden Kindred Stinger

When both waves are defeated, Zaedare the Afflicted jumps in to fight you.

Poison Pool

When jumping in and when disappearing in a puff of smoke, Zaedare leaves a small area of poison dealing continuous low poison damage.

Lop

A basic melee attack that does low physical damage.

Chop

A basic melee attack that does low physical damage.

Puncture

Zaedare thrusts his weapon with disciplined precision at a target, dealing moderate physical damage and afflicts the target with Major Breach for 15 seconds.

Poison Grenade

Zaedare throws 4 alchemic bottles which explode after a moment. Upon exploding, they deal minor poison damage and apply Major Maim and Minor Defile to targets hit in an area. Each bottle also spawns a Corrupted Kwama Scrib to fight for Zaedare.

Step Back

When too close to him, Zaedare backs up to put some distance between his target and himself.

Healing Salve

Zaedare waves a potion around to emit fumes that heal himself or nearby allies. This ability is usually used when Zaedare is on low health. This can be interrupted to stagger Zaedare. If you stand in the healing fumes, your health can be restored.

Dialogue

When you start attacking, he will cry out:

Zaedare the Afflicted: "Ah yes, another subject to help perfect our brew!"

When he summons his second wave of summons:

Zaedare the Afflicted: "Soon you'll fall, and Necrom will follow!"

When he joins the fight himself:

Zaedare the Afflicted: "Enough! Bend to Peryite's will and taste my putrescent blades!"

Upon death, he will say:

Zaedare the Afflicted: "You cannot stop the oncoming plague."
