Radiant Quest Note does not relate well here[edit]
I don't think the Radiant Quest Note relates well on this page. Here is why: 1) Only one NPC can give the quest (Vingalmo), 2) according to the quest page there are only 3 possible "victims" which are noted on that page, and 3) the note contains a link where DG quests and NPCs are not listed. (I have a request to have them added on the Radiant talk page. I would attempt but not sure how to get information that is shown on the page, for example, number of possible locations.)
Another thing that I'm curious about is the Radiant Quest Note page does not have the note shown on this page. Where is it? I would have liked to help make it stand out more but, as it was not there, I could not. At one point I did edit so it would reflect what is on the Radiant Quest Note page but it was undone because it removed the NPC note. That is what made me re-read and realize it truly does not fit this page. Please see this discussion to understand why I paid attention to this detail. Maeve4444 (talk) 05:15, 18 January 2013 (GMT)
- The Radiant Quest Note was placed here after indirect confirmation that The Fishing Job from the Theieves Guild can pick him. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 05:19, 18 January 2013 (GMT)
- A link to the Thieves Guild quest is not desired, it is entirely the reason why the radiant note was created in the first place. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 21:56, 20 January 2013 (GMT)
- Obviously, I find the note very confusing, but whatever... Maeve4444 (talk) 07:23, 21 January 2013 (GMT)
- The note is placed on pages to explain why quests on this list for places and this list for NPCs are not listed on a page. Basically, any quest which can send you to over 25 possible locations is not listed for each of those 25 locations because there's such a small chance you'll get that version. The same applies for quests which have many NPC targets. For the "Fishing Job" quest, the target NPC can be almost any NPC that lives in a city. So listing it on hundreds of pages isn't needed, as the chance of you receiving any particular NPC is so small. Instead, the radiant quest note links to that list of such quests. — ABCface◥ 16:48, 21 January 2013 (GMT)
- Thanks. It took me a while but I did figure it out. Your explanation here is great and makes it clear. Possibly, the note could be as clearly phrased? I hope the Dawnguard quests & NPCs make it on the list; and I would offer to help but have no clue how to get all the possible NPC's or locations. Again, thanks for the explanation. - The original note was longer, but it was shortened due to a few editors complaining about it being too long. As for the part about Dawnguard quests, the related discussion here which you posted is still marked as unpatrolled which means that someone will look into it in the near future. Of course, the Dragonborn expansion adds locations and NPCs to some of these quests as well, but that will take longer to look into and get documented. — ABCface◥ 19:57, 21 January 2013 (GMT)

Valindor the Eagle-Eyed[edit]
I've snuck up on Valindor before as a vampire to feed, he wasn't particularly difficult. But once I got the "New Alliegiances" quest, he became extremely perceptive, easily spotting me in the darkness despite truckloads of "sneak" bonus items. 67.0.88.4 14:23, 1 August 2013 (GMT)
- And it just happened again with another character who had even higher sneak bonuses. Valindor ordinarily isn't hard to sneak up on. But once this quest begins, man, he becomes Valindor the Eagle-Eyed. 67.0.5.174 13:22, 10 November 2013 (GMT)
