The following tables list new spell effects added by Tamriel Data. As the number of magical effects in Morrowind is hard-coded into the game engine, you will need to use MWSE to utilize these effects. There are tentative plans to port these to OpenMW at some time in the future.

Alteration[edit]

Alteration spells involve manipulation of the physical world and its natural properties. The Alteration effects added by Tamriel Data allow for passing through solid objects and creating a radiant shield.

The effect will fail if the destination beyond the traversed barrier is filled with water, is blocked by a forcefield, sigil gate, or ward, or lies above or below the caster. 750
TD3-icon-effect-Radiant Shield.png Radiant Shield This effect creates a shield of brilliant light around the subject's entire body. The spell adds its magnitude to the subject's Armor Rating, resists harmful magic, and briefly blinds attackers in melee. 5

Conjuration[edit]

Conjuration spells summon magical items and beings from the outer realms to serve the caster. The new Tamriel Data spell effects allow you to summon a host of new equipment and creatures.

TD3-icon-effect-Bound Greaves.png Bound Greaves The spell effect conjures a lesser Daedra bound in the form of magical, wondrously light Daedric greaves. The greaves appear automatically equipped on the caster, displacing any currently equipped leg armor to inventory. When the effect ends, the greaves disappear, and any previously equipped leg armor is automatically re-equipped. 2
TD3-icon-effect-Bound Knives.png Bound Throwing Knives The spell effect conjures a lesser Daedra bound in the form of magical, wondrously light Daedric throwing knives. The throwing knives appear automatically equipped on the caster, displacing any currently equipped weapon to inventory. When the effect ends, the throwing knives disappear, and any previously equipped weapon is automatically re-equipped. 2
TD3-icon-effect-Bound Pauldron.png Bound Pauldrons The spell effect conjures a lesser Daedra bound in the form of magical, wondrously light Daedric pauldrons. The pauldrons appear automatically equipped on the caster, displacing any currently equipped shoulder armor to inventory. When the effect ends, the pauldrons disappear, and any previously equipped shoulder armor is automatically re-equipped. 2

The war axe appears automatically equipped on the caster, displacing any currently equipped weapon to inventory. Destruction[edit]

Destruction spells causing harm to both the animate and inanimate. Currently, Tamriel Data does not add any new Destruction spell effects.

Illusion[edit]

Illusion spells affect the perception and mind of living subjects. Currently, Tamriel Data does not add any new Illusion spell effects.

Mysticism[edit]

Mysticism spells involve the manipulation of magical forces and boundaries to bypass the structures and limitations of the physical world. Tamriel Data's Mysticism effects allow for the banishing of Daedra, detecting humanoids, gaining insight when harvesting, teleporting to Kyne's shrines, and reflecting physical damage.

TD3-icon-effect-Banish Daedra.png Banish Daedra Banishes any daedra that the spell is cast upon, if the target is of sufficiently low level compared to the spell's magnitude. If the daedra is wounded, then it will be easier to banish. Banishing a daedra will transfer any of their important belongings to a sigil that is left behind. 128

TD3-icon-effect-Kyne's Intervention.png Kyne's Intervention The subject of this effect is transported instantaneously to the nearest temple or sacred place of the Nordic goddess Kyne. 150
TD3-icon-effect-Reflect Damage.png Reflect Damage This effect allows the subject to reflect physical damage back at an attacker. The effect's magnitude is the percent damage that will be reflected for each attack. Any unreflected damage is dealt to the defender normally. 20

Restoration[edit]

Restoration spells heal, restore, and fortify the body's attributes and abilities, cure disease, and protect it from other malign influences. New Restoration effects allow for you to restore your armor or weapons durability.
