Alasha Kori

Alasha Kori is a Dark Elf publican who runs The Dancing Jug in Ranyon-ruhn. She sells the usual local food and drink, but she also has a range of Cyrodiilic wines that she's happy to show and explain. Recently, a drunken Imperial is being a nuisance in her tavern, and she will ask you to help her deal with him.

She wears an expensive robe, a pair of common pants, a pair of netch leather boots, a common ring, and a common amulet.

Aside from her natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by her ancestors, she knows no spells.

Miscellaneous[edit]

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greetings:
"Welcome to the Dancing Jug, %PCName. Every customer's a king here. Would you like some food? Something to drink, perhaps? We also have beds available, if you'd like one."

If you have completed the Trouble in Ranyon-ruhn questline:

"Hail, %PCName! All the town has heard of your exploits! You saved us, and our Master, quite a bit of trouble. You have my thanks. Here, this round's on the house. You'll have to pay for seconds, of course. [She winks]" (Disposition up by 30, and you receive a jug of Sujamma)
  • Background:
"%Name, your bartender and hostess. Any drink you need, I have it."
  • Beds:

After agreeing to rent a bed:

"Great, your room is below. The door on the right. Sleep well!" (Disposition up by 2, and removed 10 gold from your inventory)
  • Colovian Wine
"Colovian Wine is named after the western part of the Imperial Province, which the Cyrods call Colovia. It is a sweet beverage, and like all of its kind it will blur your thoughts for a while, but it'll also lighten up your mood. If Zuriel Dralor had some of this, people would like him a lot more!"
  • drink:
"I can offer you any traditional drink, like sujamma, mazte, greef, or shein. But I also have a nice selection of other beverages, if you can afford them of course."
  • Imperial:
"They might be scum, but they certainly know how to produce quality wine."

If you are an Imperial:

"Your people are not much liked here in Morrowind, but you certainly know how to produce quality wine."
  • other beverages:
"They're being imported straight from the Imperial province. Except for Cyrodiilic brandy and Cyrodiilic whiskey, commonly known as flin, the rest are hard to come by and you may not find them anywhere. C'mon, choose one. I have Surilie Brothers Wine, Tamika's Cellar Fine Wine, Wolfsblood Wine, Plallo's Vineyard Wine, and Twin Moons Wine. You name it, I have it!"
  • Plallo's Vineyard Wine:
"Another bottle that has traveled miles and miles to end up in my store! That one tastes more than a wine from Hammerfell rather than one from Cyrodiil. It's the favorite choice of the travelers because it makes them feel much stronger, though they get a bit dizzy and can't jump too well. But then, why would they need to?"
  • Surilie Brothers Wine:
"Another sweet drink from Colovia that will make your head swing, though not as much as Tamika's. It'll fix your mood and untie your tongue, but will also render you unable to focus. At least for a while."
  • Tamika's Cellar Fine Wine:
"This fine wine is from the western part of the Imperial province, which the Imperials call Colovia. It is a sweet beverage, and like all of its kind it will blur your thoughts for a while, but it'll also lighten up your mood. If Zuriel Dralor [sic] had some of this, people would like him a lot more!"
  • Twin Moons Wine:
"It's another wine from Colovia, western Cyrodiil, with a sparkle and fruity taste you won't find in other wines. Truly a wine for emperors, I'd say."
  • Wolfsblood Wine:
"A nice choice. Makes you feel full of life, but you'll be a bit vulnerable to spells for the duration of the wine's effect. Drink away while you're here, but don't accept it from someone who dislikes you, especially if he's a mage!"

The Drunken Knight[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Welcome to the Dancing Jug, %PCName: every customer's a king here. Would you like some food? Something to drink perhaps? We also have beds available, if you'd like one. And, please, try not to pay attention to Hasilius Brahn."
  • Hasilius Brahn:
"He's the Imperial downstairs. He showed up some time ago, wearing that heavy armor, and we all thought he was some kind of knight on a mission. Now, we come to understand he's just a drunkard in a tin suit, which he'll probably sell anytime now. Why? Because he's running out of money and I'm not inclined to give him booze for free. I have to admit, though, that he hasn't caused trouble so far, but no one has been able to help him either."

"Yes, what about him?"
  • How can I make him lay off the drink for a while?: "You can't. And you can't because he won't even try. If you wish to discuss with Hasilius, you must give him something that will counterbalance the effect of alcohol. A healer could probably have something that meets your needs. I'd have done the job myself, but I just can't leave the place unattended."
  • Nothing.: "Just be careful around him."
"Be careful around him."
  • my trade:
"I'm a bartender, and owner of the Dancing Jug. I'll serve you whatever you need to drink or eat and rent you a room if you want somewhere to rest. It's a bit hard to run this place all by myself, but people like that Hasilius Brahn make it much harder."
