Bolnor Selvilo is a Dark Elf Noble who once ruled an unnamed Waters March settlement as a member of House Redoran, which he ceded to Ivul Hleryn of House Hlaalu. He now resides within Selvilo Manor in Hlerynhul, with guards supplied by Ivul Hleryn.

Bolnor's betrayal of House Redoran has not been forgiven by the acting Lord of the Waters March, Felmaru Llendu, and she will send you to defeat Bolnor on two occasions - firstly in a duel, and then secondly however you see fit. Bolnor himself still believes his decision to have been the right one.

"The situation was hopeless. I believed that forging a deal with the Hlaalu to prevent further bloodshed was the honorable thing to do. But obviously, Felmaru is of a different opinion. She would have probably preferred if we fought the Hlaalu to the last man."

Prior to his life under the Hlaalu, Bolnor fought with Felmaru in the Arnesian War, and even rescued her when she miscalculated, and found her band taken prisoner.

The Dunmer's fate ultimately depends on you. He may end up dead at your hand during Funeral for a Son, or released to join his family in Mir Corrup, over the Cyrodiil border. Alternatively, you can see him arrested and moved to Ald Iuval - a fate he accepts with relatively good grace.
