Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Manse Menas at Muck-Raker's Hangout in Othmura about a letter to the overseer.
2. (Optional) Read the letter (forfeits reward).
3. (Optional) If you read the letter, speak to Abeek-Jah at Edalvel Plantation.
4. Deliver the Sealed Letter to Melur Beloth at Edalvel Plantation.

Detailed Walkthrough

On the top floor of Muck-Raker's Hangout stands a Dark Elf named Manse Menas. She asks if you can deliver an urgent letter to the overseer of Edalvel Plantation. Agree, and she'll pass you a Sealed Letter to Melur Beloth.

You may choose to read the letter, in which case you will break the seal on it and forfeit the reward for its delivery. This will however allow you to warn an individual named in the letter, permitting them to escape the recipient's wrath.

Edalvel Plantation is reached by traveling south to Hlerynhul and then following the road west. You'll find Melur Beloth in the plantation's courtyard. Deliver the sealed letter to him and he wil erupt in anger - rushing off to kill Abeek-Jah, who the letter named as a slave planning an escape. If you speak to Melur after he has killed the slave, he will give you 100 gold for the delivery.
