Velmu

Velmu is a Dark Elf pauper and ratcatcher who can be found in the eastern sewers of Old Ebonheart. She and her fellow ratcatcher, Rothur, have unknowingly abducted S'Khar-ra, an Alfiq Khajiit and ambassador for the Elsweyr Mission at Ebon Tower, thinking he was a regular housecat who can help them catch rats. S'Khar-ra is quite happy to stay, though, and will need some convincing in order to return to the Mission. Rothur and Velmu will not fight to keep S'Khar-ra, though you have the option of killing them to make S'Khar-ra return to the Ebon Tower.

She wears a common shirt and a common skirt. She wields a cooking knife, and carries 2 pieces of rat meat and a travel lantern.

Aside from her natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by her ancestors, she knows no spells.

Miscellaneous[edit]

Dialogue[edit]

  • Background:
"I am %Name, a ratcatcher."
(If you are looking for Nagheen for 'Resigned to Fate'):
"A clerk? That must be what Nagheen keeps talkin' about. Doesn't sound very fun to me."

The Prince of Rats[edit]

  • Greetings:
(If S'Khar-ra has returned to the Elsweyr Mission):
"I have nothing to say to you, %PCRace. You took away the best ratter Rothur and I ever had."
(If Disposition ≥ 40 and S'Khar-ra has returned to the Elsweyr Mission):
"I still haven't forgiven you for taking away our little companion."
  • S'Khar-ra:
"He is the best acquisition we could ever make! That cat is a born hunter and, truth be told, we've grown quite attached to him. Sometimes it even feels as if he's talking to us with those funny noises he makes."
"You want to take our new partner away? Why? He's enjoying himself here. He's the finest ratcatcher I've ever seen."
(If you convinced S'Khar-ra to return to the Elsweyr Mission):
"I told Rothur that we wouldn't be able to keep the little prince. Such a fine ratter he was, too. Do you suppose any of the other Khajiit would be interested in work as ratcatchers?"
(If you failed to convince S'Khar-ra to return to the Elsweyr Mission):
"I'm glad the cat -- I mean, his highness -- is staying down here with us."
(If S'Khar-ra is dead):
"We both grieve for our little ratter companion."
