Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to the leader of the guildhall in Ald Iuval or Narsis for a writ on Hagar Stone-Hand.
2. Kill Hagar Stone-Hand in Ald Marak's Tradehouse.
3. Speak to Faldorn and either:
   • Refuse his request.
   • Agree to his request.
4. Report to a writ issuer.

Detailed Walkthrough

The latest writ is for Hagar Stone-Hand. It seems that the Dark Brotherhood have been engaged to handle this target also, and so you are advised to be wary of them.

Travel to Ald Marak and visit the Elval Tradehouse. Hagar Stone-Hand is by the bar. On talking to him, he will attack - but you're not alone in this fight. A Wood Elf named Faldorn will assist. On Hagar's death, he will announce himself to be from the Dark Brotherhood, and will demand that his group receives some credit for the kill. Refusing will cause him to attack you. Agree, and your reward from the writ issuer will be halved, and you will lose out on the Reputation gain you would otherwise have received.

Return to a writ issuer when ready to complete the quest.
