Map of the Imperial Province

The Imperial Province is one of the nine provinces you can visit in Arena. Unlike the other provinces, the Imperial Province does not have a native race and it contains only one location: the Imperial City. It is primarily comprised of grasslands, though the Dragon's Teeth Mountains stretch through the west of the province between Hammerfell and Valenwood, and small areas of desert, forest, and swamp exist where the Imperial Province borders southern Hammerfell, northern Valenwood, and western Black Marsh respectively.

It borders six other provinces: Skyrim to the north, Morrowind to the northeast, Black Marsh to the southeast, Elsweyr to the south, Valenwood to the southwest, and Hammerfell to the northwest. A road circles the Imperial City with connecting roads leading to each of these provinces, along with a road connecting Hammerfell to Valenwood in the far west of the Imperial Province, west of the Dragon's Teeth Mountains, and a road connecting Elsweyr and Black Marsh at the southern edge of the province.

Notes[edit]

  • The Imperial City is always labeled when you select the Imperial Province's map.
  • Although Arena's terrain map of Tamriel displays mountainous, desert, forested, and swampy terrain in addition to the province's grassland terrain, due to the nature of the Imperial Province, with the Imperial City as the only location able to be traveled to, only the grassland terrain is actually observable in-game. However, the description of the city-state of Falinesti in Valenwood refers to the Dragon's Teeth Mountains visible to its north, which correlates with the western spur of the mountain range in the Imperial Province visible on the terrain map.
