"It was then our combined host, Elf and Nord alike, were joined in a terrible understanding -- victory or defeat mattered little that day on the slopes of the Moesring Mountains. The one truth we all shared was that death would come to many that day, victor and vanquished alike. The glorious Snow Prince, an Elf unlike any other, did come that day to bring death to our kind. And death he so brought." —Fall of the Snow Prince by Lokheim[1]

Ulfgi Anvil-Hand was one of the greatest Nord warriors among the participants of the Battle of the Moesring.[1]

Ulfgi, together with Heimdall the Frenzied, Strom the White, and Freida Oaken-Wand, stood among the mightiest warriors of their group, yet all were defeated by the Snow Prince, his spear, and his mastery of ice and snow magic. They fell in battle and lay dead at the foot of the Moesring Mountains. Though victorious, the Prince too met his end that day, slain by Finna, daughter of Jofrior, whom the elf had previously killed.[1]

An ancient account of the last battle of Anvil-Hand titled Fall of the Snow Prince authored by Lokheim, chronicler to the chieftain Ingjaldr White-Eye,[2] was discovered in Jolgeirr Barrow by the Nerevarine around 3E 427.[3] This account went on to become a published book, and was a popular text by 3E 433 and 4E 201.[1]
