Morrowind talk:Miscellaneous Items Merchants
Distinguishing filled from empty soul gems[edit]
The table does not distinguish between empty soulgems and filled ones. Filled soulgems are generally a lot less useful to buy, both because they tend to have smaller souls in them than the max capacity of the gem and because they (particularly the larger ones) cost far, far more. The two merchants that sell filled soulgems are Galar Rothan (petty contains Blighted Nix-Hound, lesser contains Skeleton Warrior, commons contain Dreugh and Greater Bonewalker, greaters contain Ogrim and Storm Atronach) and Galbedir (petties contain Alit/Rat/Skeleton Warrior, one lesser contains a Blighted Kagouti, commons contain Ogrim Titan and Skeleton Warrior, greater contains Dremora, grand contains Winged Twilight; she has one empty). The inclusion of Galbedir as having a Grand Soul Gem is particularly a problem, because hers can't do the main thing you want Grand Soul Gems for (i.e. contain a 400-point soul to make Constant Effect items).
Suggestions on how to better convey this information? Magic9mushroom (talk) 14:43, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
- This page deals with merchants selling miscellaneous items, in general. I agree that a distinction between empty and filled soul gems is definitely useful info but I believe that, as it pertains to specifically to soul gems, it is already covered in Morrowind:Soul Gems#Locations.
