You draw vitality from slain enemies granting you temporary defensive capabilities. Slain enemies will grant you a Major Buff. This can occur every 5 seconds.

This verse randomly grants you a Major Buff you do not currently have when you kill an enemy for 30 seconds. If you somehow have all the major buffs active, you get nothing more. See Buffs for a list of possible effects. ^{What changes with Ghostly Gratitude? Duration ?}
