Quick Walkthrough

1. Ask Villina Telvor about duties and the Beacon's wreck.
2. Retrieve the Ship's Log from the Beacon at White Reef.
3. Bring the log to Villina.

Detailed Walkthrough

The Abecean Trading Company has lately lost one of its ships to an unknown event, and Villina Telvor has been under pressure to find out what happened to it. Speak to her about duties and the Beacon's wreck, and she'll task you with finding out - and with recovering the ship's logbook. She knows enough of its planned route to be able to make a suggestion as to where you should start looking - the White Reef.

This reef lies to the east of Stirk Isle on which Charach sits. Unless you like being nibbled on by fish, you may wish to obtain means of walking on water and of breathing in it before you set out. Walk east from Charach, and you'll eventually see the Ayleid ruins of Vabriasel. White Reef is immediately to the northwest of this ruin, with the Beacon's wreck being in the western part of the reef.

Dive to it (watch out for Dreugh) and enter the Cabin. Beyond a door here, you'll find both a Dreugh and the Ship's Log. It details the attack on the ship by goblin pirates. Pick up the log and return to Villina. She's a little sour that goblins are apparently acting with such impunity, but will reward you with the Broadsword of Deep Wounds for your efforts.

10		Villina Telvor has been under pressure from the Abecean Trading Company to investigate the disappearance of the Beacon, one of their ships, which left from Anvil shortly after Navy patrols in the Abecean were suspended. Since she has not had the resources to look into it, she needs me to look for the Beacon's wreck near the White Reef, by the Viduscan Isles southeast of Stirk, and recover its logbook to find out why it sank.
100	Finishes quest	Villina Telvor thanked me for finding the Beacon's wreck and recovering its logbook. She rewarded me with an enchanted sword.
