Dialogue[edit]

Tribunal Temple: The Belt of St. Olms[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Hello, %PCRank. Are you here on behalf of Milara Orvayn? If you're looking for the Belt of Saint Olms, I have information that might be of interest to you."
  • Belt of St. Olms:
"Some time ago, we caught a prisoner during a raid on a small band of Dagon cultists. Upon questioning, he revealed his group was following orders coming from the daedric shrine of Naemunbatashpi. He even bragged that a former Ordinator had recently joined their ranks. I thought nothing of it at first -- the last words of a daedra cultist are rarely of any use. It was only when I learned about the loss of the Belt of St. Olms and the disappearing Ordinator that I alerted Master Milara Orvayn."
  • Continue:
"The ruins of Naemunbatashpi overlook the western bank of the Thirr, northwest of Othmura. Leave the town east, towards Idathren and Hlan Oek, and follow the road that runs along the river, up until you start seeing daedric ruins up the hillside, to your left. Be careful, %PCRank. The Dagon cult holed up in Naemunbatashpi is powerful, and the inner shrine is rumored to be hosting a general of Mehrunes' armies. Don't go in there unprepared."
"Follow the Thirr downstream to get to Naemunbatashpi. Good luck, %PCRank."
(If you have the Belt of St. Olms):
"Have you found the belt? Excellent work! You should bring it to Master Milara Orvayn in Narsis."
"Thank you for bringing back the Belt of St. Olms to its rightful place, %PCRank."

A Brother's Love[edit]

  • Greetings:
"Have you made a decision about the letter for Palosenya?"
(After returning the Letter to Palosenya):
"It's good to see you, %PCName. You're always welcome to join us for a sermon."
  • letter for Palosenya:
"What? How did you hear about that? I would never "steal" a letter. But in this case, it was only right to withhold it. For the time being, at least. The letter was nothing but a vicious attack on Palosenya and her newfound faith. Giving it to her would only cause her grief."
  • You should give her the letter.:
"No, I think it would be a mistake to give it to her right now. Her faith needs more time to take root."
(If Disposition ≥ 70):
"I would still prefer to wait longer before giving Palosenya the letter, but perhaps I'm at risk of not recognizing a mistake for what it is. Here's a key to my chest downstairs. The letter's inside. You can judge for yourself." (You receive Furen Hlavel's Key)
(If you have the Letter to Palosenya):
  • I have the letter.:
(If you stole the letter):
"Did you go through my belongings? Well, I assume you've read the note. You can see why I didn't want to give it to Palosenya. The mycelium of her faith is still growing. A harsh light shining from the west could scorch her before her faith has time to sprout. Don't give her the letter, please." (Disposition -20, see other choices below)
  • You can have the letter back.:
"You've made the right choice by giving it back." (Removed Letter to Palosenya from your inventory)
(If you convinced him to give you the key to the chest):
"I assume you've read the note. You can see why I didn't want to give it to Palosenya. The mycelium of her faith is still growing. A harsh light shining from the west could scorch her before her faith has time to sprout. Don't give her the letter, please."
  • I'm going to give Palosenya the letter.:
"I still believe she needs more time. I can't stop you, but whatever you do, don't let her think I withheld it out of malice."
  • You can have the letter back.:
"Thank you. Remember, the shadows form us. A mushroom grows best in the dark. Please take this as a show of thanks for your discretion." (Removed Letter to Palosenya from your inventory, and you receive a Scroll of Heartwise)
  • I haven't decided yet.:
"Please reconsider giving her the letter. It's too soon."
  • Nevermind.:
"Please leave this be for now."
(If you convinced him to give you the key to the chest):
"Did you retrieve the letter from my chest?"
(If you have the Letter to Palosenya):
  • I have the letter.: (See 'I assume you've read the note...' response above)
  • No.:
"I'm uncomfortable sharing it with anyone further, but perhaps you should read it and make your decision."
(If you stole the letter and let him know, but didn't decide what to do with it earlier):
"Have you made a decision yet?" (See 'give Palosenya the letter', 'have the letter back', and 'I haven't decided yet' choices above)
(If you returned the letter to him):
"You made the right decision to return the letter. I'll give it to her in time. Once she's ready."
(If you stole the letter and returned it to him):
"It was a breach of trust to take that letter from me without my permission. And I recognize how that sounds, but I stand by my reasoning."
(If you stole the letter and gave it to Palosenya):
"You shouldn't have given her the letter. That was my choice to make." (Disposition -20)
(If you convinced him to give the key to the chest and gave the letter to Palosenya):
"Palosenya has shown greater resilience than I anticipated. Perhaps it was arrogant of me to think I knew what was best for her. It was her autonomy that led her to Morrowind and the Temple, and I erred in not respecting that when I made the decision for her." (Disposition +20)
