Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Milara Orvayn at the Eight-Bones Temple about the Belt of St. Olms.
2. Travel to Othmura's temple and ask Furen Hlavel about the belt.
3. Defeat Xivilai Lotan inside Naemunbatashpi.
4. Return the Belt of St. Olms to Milara.

Detailed Walkthrough

Milara has been keeping the theft of the Eight-Bones Temple's "most precious relic", the Belt of St. Olms, a secret. It was stolen by an Ordinator who defected from the Temple. She wants it back and the traitor Ordinator dead. You're told to ask at the Othmura temple for details of the traitor's location. She'll also grant you several items to aid in your task - the Spear of Perpetual Thrusting, an Exclusive Restore Magicka potion, and an Amulet of Mighty Blows.

Head north to Othmura. Boats going up the Thirr River can take you here. Once there, speak to Furen Hlavel about the belt. He names the daedric shrine of Naemunbatashpi as the suspected location of the traitor and the belt. To reach it from Othmura, follow the northern road running out of town downriver. Naemunbatashpi stands overlooking the river. Enter it and make your way to the Antechamber section. You'll find a level 70 trapped and locked door here. The Ritual Chamber Key that opens this door is carried by Galdayne Elmindu, who is in one of the Antechamber rooms.

Open the door. Once inside, you'll be greeted by Xivilai Lotan, who stands over the Ordinator's dead body. It briefly explains that the Ordinator's gift (of a belt that essentially improves your haggling ability) was useless, and so it killed the Ordinator "in my bewilderment". It'll then attack you. Kill it, and retrieve the Belt of St. Olms from its body. You can now return to Milara to complete the quest.

Notes

• If you reach Patriarch rank in the Temple, you can speak to Milara and she will entrust the belt to your care.
• Completion of this quest unlocks a new Canyon Echo article titled BELT OF ST. OLMS RECOVERED.
